As a Christian, patriotic American, I take great pride in my nation, our Founding Fathers and Old Glory, so this is an oldie but goodie.

I took hundreds of pictures on Memorial Day, many years ago, but this composite, is definitely a favorite! I decided to visit Smith Mountain Cemetery and Reedley Cemetery, to give my respects to our heroes that paid the ultimate sacrifice.  The loving volunteers filled the landscape with Old Glory—it was truly a beautiful sight to behold!  The day was solemn, yet simultaneously beautiful—taking a moment to recognize our fallen heroes.

I am truly and forever grateful to our selfless and courageous men and women that are presently serving; those that have served; those that have passed on; those that are missing in action; and today, those that gave their life, while on duty. Thank you, for giving of yourself, wholly!  I pray you rest in peace, in the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father.  America is, truly, the Greatest Nation on Earth, and you are the reason why I am a proud, patriotic American!  May God continue to favor America! 💕🇺🇸🙏

Thank You, Lord, for favoring me and bestowing abundant blessings, that can only come from You and the United States of America, my home, since the age of 2, now going on 52 years! 😳😍 I love You, too! 💕
