Gwanaksan Mountain
Gwanaksan Mountain

I lived in Seoul, South Korea, for 1 year, but returned to California, at the end of March '20, due to the pandemic. God willing, I'll be returning for another year, in the springtime!
I climbed 2 mountains in 3 days, in Seoul! I had never attempted it—well...actually I never imagined I would, but I loved it! I lived at the foot of Gwanaksan Mountain, near Seoul National University, so it was "easy" to just do it. It was sooo cool and breathtakingly beautiful! I cannot wait to return!
Yeonjudae temple is perched on the edge of a stunningly beautiful cliff. The temple itself is very lovely and serene. The trek up the 2073' mountain is long, but truly enjoyable, because of the streams, rocks and forest; but to be able to view the city from up above and to have this treat, at its peak, is surely worth the effort!
I pray you may be able to visit, someday, too! Enjoy! 🍃🌞🌺🦋🙏
